How can we have real faith in God? God not only requires faith, but He also provides faith. God does not believe for us, but He enables us to believe. It's all of grace, and the word grace means gift. Our relationship with God is by grace through faith.
God gives the measure of faith to each one as needed. We receive that faith through the Spirit of God, and through the word of God. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Faith comes to you, as you hear and read the word of God. Feed upon the word of God to strengthen your faith.
Pray the Word: Father, I receive the faith that I need to do Your will. I read Your word of truth in the Bible, depending upon You to release faith in me, through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do the Word: Thank God for the gift of faith. Feed yourself upon the word of truth in the Bible. Read and memorize the wonderful promises of God. The Holy Spirit who inspired the word of God is the same Holy Spirit who will give you faith and strengthen your faith.
