God has chosen you, as a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. God chose us "to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love" (Ephesians 1:4). God chose you by Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, that we may be the adopted sons of God. In Christ, we are the adopted children of God. We are family with God as our Father, and you are "accepted in the Beloved" (Ephesians 1:6).
God has chosen to adopt you into His family, as a believer in Christ, because He loves you. He set His love upon you in Christ. His love for you is unconditional and everlasting. You received God's love, when you received the Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to God's forever family. You are loved. In Christ, you are "without blame before Him in love."
Through faith in Jesus Christ, God chose to adopt us, "that we should be holy." Please note, this is not self-righteousness. Far from it. You have received by faith the righteousness of God in Christ. To be holy means you are set apart, because you belong to Christ. Christ died for all of our sins, "that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21).
As a believer in Christ, see yourself as God sees you. You are chosen. In Christ you are loved and adopted. In Christ you are holy and without blame before God. You are part of God's family. You have a Father in heaven who loves you forever.
