A painting on the wall of an art museum may be worth thousands of dollars, sometimes millions. Such a work may be called a masterpiece. It is the work of a master artist. His hand fashioned the work according to the thought of his mind. You are God's masterpiece in Christ. You come from His thought and His hand.
Have you ever thought of yourself as a masterpiece? As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are nothing less than a masterpiece. Your life is from the mind of God even from eternity. He has created you anew in Christ. God makes no junk. Yes, you are a masterpiece, because of what God has done, and what He is doing in your life.
You may not think of yourself as a masterpiece, because you don't really know who you are in Christ. To God alone be the glory! You are God's property. You belong to Him. Yes, you are His masterpiece. Your destiny is to be completely conformed to the likeness of Christ. He is the Master of every masterpiece.
God created all of us. More than that, God created us anew as believers in Christ. "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the things he planned for us long ago" (Ephesians 2:10, NLT). You are God's masterpiece, even created anew through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Give Him all the glory!
