There is only one place where you can find the Lord. He can only be found in your heart. That is your innermost being. It is your mind, will, and emotions. The Lord Jesus must be revealed in your heart, or you will never find him. The Holy Spirit makes Jesus real in your heart. "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9, NLT).
God reveals his love and grace to you at the cross of Jesus. His power is revealed to you through Jesus raised from the dead. Yet, you will never believe, until the Holy Spirit makes him real in your heart. Only the Holy Spirit enables you to know Jesus in your heart. That's where you meet our Lord Jesus Christ.
If God's Spirit has revealed Christ in your heart, thank God for making Jesus real in your life through the Holy Spirit. As you tell others about Jesus our Lord, may the Holy Spirit make Jesus real to them. We can only tell others what the Lord has done in our hearts. We are dependent upon God's Spirit to reveal Christ in them.
Meet Jesus in your heart daily. Be aware of the thoughts, desires, and emotions of your heart. Surrender to Jesus any thoughts, desires, or emotions that should not be in your heart. Confess Jesus as Lord daily. He lives in your heart.
