Faith Receives from God

Everything we ask God for in prayer, we receive by faith. The key to answered prayer is faith in God. However, doubt will rob you of power in prayer. Unbelief will receive nothing from God. Doubt says, "Im going to pray. God may or may not answer." Unbelief says, "There's no sense in praying. Why would God answer my prayer?" Faith says, "I will ask and receive from God now."

God is pleased when we come to Him by faith in prayer. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him" (Hebrews 11:6a). No one seeks God in vain, when you seek Him by faith. "He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6b). When you come to God by faith in prayer, rest assured that He hears you.

Prayer receives from God now. Faith is not based on anything you see, except for the promises of God in your Bible. Faith does not receive based upon what others say. Faith receives based upon what God's word says. Faith does not receive by what your eyes see. Faith receives based upon what your heart sees. Faith sees God, "seeing Him who is invisible" (Hebrews 11:27).

Faith receives the promise of God now, knowing that it will come in God's appointed time. Faith does not rush God. Faith is always willing to wait on God. The point is, faith receives now, what hope knows is coming. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrew 11:1).
