Riches are for you. Remember, there is more than one way to be rich. The world thinks not. Riches are more than gold and silver, houses and land. As a believer, you are rich in Christ with spiritual values that will never pass away. That is God's "exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:7).
At one time your sin debt before God made you a beggar, without hope and peace with God. However, in Christ "we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" (Ephesians 1:7). Once you were a beggar before God; now you are rich in His grace through Christ.
The grace of God is the favor of God. You are rich in God's favor. All the money in the world cannot buy God's favor. That's the riches of His grace. You didn't earn it. No one deserves it. Grace comes with the riches of God freely to all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are not a beggar with God. Don't beg Him to forgive you. The riches of God's grace in Christ has forgiven all your sins. Don't beg God to answer your prayers. You are rich in grace. Simply ask God to answer your prayers in Christ. You are rich now and forever, "the riches of His grace" (Ephesians 1:7).
