Find the Truth

Philosophers speculate about the truth. The opinions of people disagree and vary concerning the truth. Therefore, some conclude that the truth is relative. What you accept as truth may not be truth for others. So, can you really know the truth?

God's truth is time tested and approved by all circumstances and all generations. Truth from God is everlasting, because He is the eternal God. He changes not; neither does the truth of God change. What was the truth of God centuries ago is forever the same.

Find the truth in the Bible, the word of truth. The Holy Spirit inspired the authors of Holy Scripture. They penned words of prophecy finding fulfillment in past generations and foreseeing things to come. Those authors wrote the truth about God. He confirmed it with signs and wonders.

Find the truth in the Son of God. He fully reveals who God is. Jesus revealed the power, love, grace, and goodness of God. Jesus said, "I am the truth" (John 14:6). Jesus prophesied His own death and resurrection on the third day. Truth was victorious over sin and death.

Find the truth in your heart. The Spirit of truth, known also as the Holy Spirit, will guide you to the one who is the truth, Jesus our Lord. He confirms the truth in your heart with love, joy and peace. "The Spirit of truth . . . dwells with you and will be in you" (John 14:17).
