Pray with Confidence

How is your prayer life? Do you pray with confidence? A dynamic prayer to God always has faith that God will hear and answer. Prayer is not just saying religious words or quoting from memory. True prayer talks to God our Father by faith.

Can we really have confidence when we pray? Unbelief says, "No one can have confidence in prayer. It's nothing but religious talk." Doubt says, "Some people may have confidence in prayer, but I'm not sure that I ever will." Faith says, "I pray with confidence, because my prayers are based upon the promises of God in the Bible. God always honors His word."

You can have confidence in prayer. Please understand that it is not self-confidence, far from it. Rather, it is confidence in God and His word. "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14). God's word is God's will. Make the Bible your prayer book. Stand by faith upon the promises of God in prayer. Asking according to God's will is praying His word.

All the promises of God are for you as a believer in Jesus Christ. "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us" (2 Corinthians 1:20). Praying  by faith is praying the promises of God in Jesus name, to the glory of God. That's praying with confidence.
