Fear can intimidate all of us. Fear can rob you of peace. Fear tries to force you to give up. It robs you of success in life, causing you to forfeit your God given purpose and destiny. Tormenting fear is an enemy that has no mercy.
Conquer fear with faith in God. Fear is like a shadow fleeing in the presence of light. The light of God's word in the Bible is the truth that defeats the lies of fear. The word of God is your sword to conquer fear. Read it. Believe it. Speak it. Pray it back to God. "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Fear is your call to prayer. God's love conquers your fear every time. Fill your mind with the truth of God's love. Fear's false threats cannot stand before the love of God. Read what the Bible says about love. "Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear" (1 John 4:18, NLT). Conquer your fear embracing the love of God. Call upon God to deliver you out of the darkness of fear into the light of His love.
When you are fearful, you could say, "I don't want to live with this fear, but I can't help it." That's true. You can't, but God can. He can deliver you from all your fears. Call upon God. Ask Him to do for you, what you cannot do for yourself. Ask God to fill you with His love. "God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them" (1 John 4:16, NLT).
