God wants you to be blessed. He delights in blessing people. God's blessings are for all who will receive. So many people don't really understand how to be blessed. Others read the Bible, but refuse to believe in order to be blessed. God gives us choice. Choose to be blessed.
Those who are not blessed are cursed, according to the Bible. There is no middle ground. To be cursed is to be cut off from God's blessings, both in this life and the life to come. God sent His Son to bless all of us. All of God's blessings are found in Christ Jesus. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3).
God's blessings are offered to all, but never received, until we come to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you want to be blessed? It's your choice. Then, how can you be blessed? It's by faith alone in Christ alone. Every blessing God has for you is by faith in His Son. "So then those who are of faith are blessed" (Galatians 3:9).
God not only wants to bless you, but He wants you to be a blessing. He wants you to be a blessing to your family and friends, as well as everyone He brings into your life. We are blessed to be a blessing. The desire to be blessed is not selfish, because your are blessed to be a blessing to others. Those who are blessed become a blessing.
