Is there any hope? Yes, hope comes from God and hope is in God. Sadly, many have been disappointed by false hope, which is always in anyone and everything but God. Worse than that, some people blame their false hope on God. They simply don't understand hope in God.
There is hope for us as the gift of God. Hope comes to our hearts through the Spirit of God. Hope always focuses upon God Himself and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope never tries to use God. Hope would never think of trying to manipulate God. Hope surrenders to God.
The gift of hope never comes to you alone. There is hope with two constant companions, faith and love. They never come for a visit; they come to remain. They abide with you. "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Faith always comes with hope. "Now faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Faith and hope are always focused on love, because "God is love" (1 John 4:8). So, there is hope that never disappoints.
Faith can trust God now. There is hope from God for your future. Hope never frets about the future, knowing that God is love. "Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:8). Faith and hope have absolute confidence in God, because love "believes all things, hopes all things" (1 Corinthians 13:7).
