God is there. He's there for you. Even though you don't see God, His word declares that He is there. God is near you. "The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth"(Psalm 145:18).
Do you consider God near or far away? Actually, the Bible teaches that God is everywhere. That means He is near you. God is near you all the time. Only faith recognizes God is near. Unbelief does not consider God's presence anywhere.
To call upon God in truth is to pray according to His word of truth. That is found in your Bible. God's word is truth without any mixture or error. God's word is filled with wonderful promises for all who believe. God speaks to us through the Bible. We respond to Him in prayer.
Prayer is talking to God. It's just that simple. Some people may think that only a minister educated in religion can effectively talk with God. The truth is anyone can call upon God, and He is always near to hear. If you talk to God truly from your heart, then He listens.
It's good to have a "quiet time" with God every day, talking to Him about the concerns of your heart. It's even better to talk with Him throughout the day, no matter where you are.
