Life is a series of decisions. God has given each of us the ability to choose. Some people are hesitant to make decisions. They are afraid of making the wrong decision. Some even go so far as letting others make their decisions. Sad but true, their lives are controlled by fear of making the wrong decision.
You need help in making good decisions. You may ask friends for their opinions. Then you may struggle and fret over the right opinion. However, there is a better way. You have a friend to help you with every decision. Wisdom is your friend. Wisdom will never lead you to make the wrong decision. Wisdom from God will lead you.
Wisdom is there for you. Wisdom, however, will never force its way on you. Ask God for wisdom in every decision you make. He promises to give you wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
Understand that wisdom never comes to you alone. Wisdom always comes with peace. They are constant companions. The wisdom of God comes to lead you with the peace of God. They always work together. "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable" (James 3:17). Peace will always confirm wisdom. In making good decisions, let wisdom lead you with peace.
