We come to God by faith. That is confidence and trust in God. It's not faith in your faith. Rather, it's confidence in the promises of God. The promises of God are found in your Bible. They are covenant promises that are steadfast and sure. Here is a promise for you. So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him (Hebrews 11:6, NLT).
We come to God through the prayer of faith. The foundation for prayer is the promise of God's good will. It's coming to God and receiving from his goodness. God is a very loving, compassionate, and kind Father. He is not reluctant to do good things in the lives of all of his children. No good thing does he withhold from his children. You please God by faith in the goodness of God.
We come to God our Father with faith in his ability to do good things in our lives. Believe his mercy and grace. Understand that we are not on a merit system in God's family. Grace is his unmerited favor in Christ. Our Father in heaven loves us and wants to do good things in our lives.
We come to God our Father with confidence through Jesus Christ. Come to God our Father in prayer, through the name of Jesus. He is the way to God. When you come to God by faith, know that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
