Conflict with Others

After you have done all you can to resolve conflict with others, give it to God in prayer. His providence may give you an opportunity in the future to restore the relationship. However, if that's not possible, let go of any anger or bitterness you may have.

"And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). Forgiving others comes only from a tender heart. And, a tender heart comes only from a relationship with God through Christ. Forgiving others is the will of God. Forgiving others opens the door for God to work in your circumstances for your good and His glory.

Pray the Word: Father, give me grace to forgive others. I know that reconciliation is your will in every conflict of my life. Work in my circumstances for good and Your glory, through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

Do the Word: Seek God's help in every conflict of your life. God is good. His purpose is reconciliation and peace. Forgive others and trust God to work for peace in your conflicts.
