God's Glory Everywhere

"The whole earth is full of His glory."

Isaiah 6:3

A twelve year-old girl asked her mother, "What about those people who have never heard about God and don't know Him?" Her mother replied, "Honey, I think it's wonderful that you have concern for those who haven't heard about God. That's the reason churches send missionaries. Also, everyone in the world should be able to see the glory of God in all that He has created. They can sense His presence and call upon Him. God is everywhere."

The glory of God refers to His presence in all the earth. The evidence of His presence to all mankind is the created order that He holds together. Things that are created have a message to all of us. "Their sound has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the end of the world" (Psalm 19:4; Romans 10:18). Creation provides signs of God's presence to all people everywhere. "Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them" (Romans 1:19).

God's presence is with you every day and everywhere. Learn to practice the presence of God as you consider that He has created all things, even the body you live in. He holds all things together. Without His presence, nothing would be sustained in this world. We live at His mercy and for His glory. God's glory is everywhere.

Prayer. God, You have made us and all that we see in this world. You are the Creator of all things, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
