God Promises You

The Bible is a book filled with promises. They are not empty promises, because they are the sure promises of God. He does not lie. God who cannot lie, promised before time began (Titus 1:2). Believe God's promises. Make God's promises your sure foundation for faith. What God promises, God will do.

Your relationship with God begins with the promise: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Joel 2:32; Romans 10:13). Your name is whoever. That includes everyone. You can have a personal relationship with God. Call upon the Lord. He will answer. Believe what God promises you.

Your relationship with God continues with the promise: He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). God works in the life of every believer. He works faith, hope, and love in your life as abiding gifts (1 Corinthians 13:13). What God starts, God finishes. Believe what God promises you.

Every promise of God is for you as a believer in Jesus Christ. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (2 Corinthians 1:20). Your faith and hope are based upon the promises of God. Believe what God promises you.
