On a Sunday morning the congregation stood to sing "Amazing Grace." In the middle of the song, a man walked down the aisle to the pastor. He told the minister that the song deeply touched him. He wanted God's grace. The pastor shared verses from the Bible with him and led him in a prayer to receive God's grace in Christ. The message of God's grace was powerful through that song. How many people have experienced the presence and power of God through a song?
The psalmist understood that God works through songs. As a matter of fact, the book of Psalms is ancient Israel's hymn book. All 150 psalms were written to be sung. God always has a song for His people.
Heaven is a place of singing praise to God. God has a new song for His people in the book of Revelation. When we sing unto the Lord in worship, heaven comes to church. We may feel the presence of God. He touches our hearts afresh.

Are you seeking a fresh touch of God in your life? It may well come through a song. In the dark night of the soul, there has to be a song. There always has to be a song. God has a song for you today.
