"And the LORD said, I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows."
Exodus 3:7
A cell phone is an amazing thing. You can talk to another person in a far away place. That person may hear your voice as clearly as if you were standing near them. The wireless invention would have been unbelievable to preceding generations, yet it is a reality today that no one should doubt.
A more amazing thing is that man can talk to the Creator of the universe no matter where he prays, and God will hear his prayers. He heard His people pray in slavery under cruel taskmasters. He heard and answered their prayers in His time, showing His power and glory.

God welcomes the prayers of all of His children. He sees our circumstances and knows our sorrows. More than that, He hears us when we cry out to Him for help. God moved upon behalf of His believing people in that early generation in Egypt. He will move upon behalf of all who trust in Him and call upon His name. Faith comes to God in prayer receiving grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Unbelief says, "If there is a God, why would He want to hear my prayer?" Doubt confesses, "I know there is a God, and He may or may not hear my prayer." Faith says, "I know there is a God in heaven who hears and answers prayer. He knows our problems and hears our prayers."
Do you have a burden or problem today? Come to God by faith, trusting in Him as your heavenly Father, calling upon His name with confidence. He will hear the prayer of faith. Someone said, "My faith is too weak to pray." A friend responded, "It's not about the strength of your faith. It's about the faithfulness of your God." How true! Don't hesitate to call upon Him, and when you do, know that God heard your prayer.
God, You know our needs and hear our prayers. We receive Your help.
