Can you say that you are happy? What about your relationship with God? The two are connected. Blessing and happiness results in a personal relationship with God. Knowing God brings purpose and fulfillment into your life. Happiness is knowing your life is not wasted.
Knowing God doesn't mean that you will not be tried and tested. It doesn't mean that you will not face problems and difficulties. It does mean that you will have assurance that God is with you, and He is for you.
Knowing God means He is working in you with love, joy, and peace. Happiness is knowing God loves you. Happiness is the joy of God's presence. Happiness is peace with God.
Knowing God doesn't mean you will never fail Him and go astray. When you do, God has mercy to forgive you, as you confess your sins. Happiness is knowing your sins are forgiven.
Knowing God is knowing His help with all your needs. At God's throne of grace, there is always help for you. Real happiness in knowing God as your Helper.
