How many people do you know who would really die for you? Maybe you know no one who would. Perhaps you think of a spouse or parent who would. Believe it or not, God cares that much about you. He came to earth as a man called Jesus. He willingly surrendered His life to death on a cross. That's how much He cares about you.
Do you really believe God cares about you? Unbelief says, "I'm not even sure if there is a God, and if there is, why would He care about me? Doubt says, "I would like to believe there is a God, but I'm not good enough for Him to care about me." Faith says, "I know God cares about me. When I look at the cross of Jesus, I see how much He cares."
Only the Holy Spirit can make God's loving care real in your heart. He has a special way of doing it. The Spirit of God is able to put the love of Christ in your heart. You may have read the Bible and heard others talk about God's loving care, but you have trouble really believing. God cares about you, but you will never know it until it happens in your heart.
Ask God to change your heart through His love. Welcome the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with the love of Jesus. When that happens in you, then you can cast all your cares upon Him, because you know that He cares about you.
