Much happiness in life comes from finding where you fit. That applies to your family, church, work, and residence. Being a misfit is no fun for anyone. It is constant discomfort. When you don't fit, you know it. God has made you for a purpose and a place. Ask Him to guide you to your place in life. That place is called God's will for your life.
Life can be like a puzzle. Each piece is made to fit in just a certain place. The pieces of the puzzle will never fit in the wrong place. Sadly, some people try to make themselves fit in the wrong place. Rest assured that God has a place for you. Ask Him to lead you to that very place. Trust Him to put you there.
Being a misfit is being out of God's will. Trying to make it work will never work. Peace and joy comes, when you find your place in life. You just know in your heart, it's where you belong. If you are not there yet, don't struggle nor strive. Surrender it to God. He will make a way for you. "He leads the humble in what is right, teaching them his way" (Psalm 25:9).
God has a place for you in His plan. It may not always be an easy place. There may be challenges where God wants you. Don't determine the place where you fit with outward circumstances. To the contrary, follow the peace of God in your heart. "And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts" (Colossians 3:15).
