Fear would like to control your life, consume your thoughts, and make all your decisions. Fear will rob you of the joy of life. Fear is a cruel master, demanding control of your life. Fear will torment your mind, robbing you of peace. Fear will not leave you to live in freedom. You will need help to be free from fear. Love alone is able to set you free.
Fear will hold your thoughts and decisions about life in bondage. However, when love fills your life, fear flees. Love has power over fear always. There's an important reason why love can cast out fear. "God is love" (1 John 4:8). God has all power even over your fear. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment" (1 John 4:18).
Love will not force his way into your life. Love, unlike fear, honors your will. Welcome love into your life. Invite God to fill you with his love. When you do, God will fill your mind, will, and emotions with love. Until you do, fear will not go away. Love alone has the power to cast out your fear.
Think about living your life without any tormenting thoughts of fear. Trust God's love to be your constant companion. Walk with love and fear will flee from you. Remember, God loves you, never because you are good enough to deserve nor earn his love. God loves you simply because God is love. Cast out fear by turning to God's love.
