We are powerless to change our own lives, but as helpless as we are, the power of the Holy Spirit can change your life through faith in Christ. "For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance" (1 Thessalonians 1:5).
The same power that created this world and all that is in it, is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That is the power of God's Spirit, also referred to as the Spirit of holiness. The resurrection declares that Jesus is indeed the Son of God in power. It is the same power that can change your life by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus was "declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead" (Romans 1:4).
Do you believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ? If you do, the Holy Spirit has worked in your life to enable you to confess Him as Lord. You know that Jesus is indeed the Son of God and His resurrection proves it.
The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is the same Holy Spirit who changes your life. Believe that the power of Christ lives in you through the Holy Spirit to change your life. Your life is changed, "if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you" (Romans 8:11).
