God's love is received through his Son. Jesus came into this world to reveal God's love for all mankind. Look at Christ crucified. He proved God's love for you, when he died on the cross to take away all of your sins. With outstretched arms and crucified hands, he loves you that much. "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners" (Romans 5:8 NLT).
Only the Holy Spirit can make God's love in Christ real to you. His love changes our hearts to trust him and love him. His love works through us to love others. It all begins when you let God love you."For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love" (Romans 5:5, NLT).
Pray the Word: God, I thank you for your great love for me through your Son Jesus Christ. I believe and receive your love for me through Christ. Fill my heart with your love today, through the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name. Amen.
Do the Word: Share God's love with others in word and deed. That includes ministries of love and kindness, as well as sharing the message of God's love in Christ.
