Your desire and efforts to change your life are useless. When you see yourself as helpless to make a real change, God's grace changes you. You can no more change your life than a blind man can make himself see. Grace can do in you what you could never do for yourself. That's what makes grace so amazing. "It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy" (Romans 9:16, NIV)
Grace is a person. His name is Jesus. Grace enables you to trust him. He has the power to change your life. His power is not force nor coercion. His power is love. It is love divine changing your heart. It is overwhelming love, so amazing. Jesus is God's amazing grace to you. "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 1:2, NIV).
Pray the Word: God, change my life by your grace through Jesus Christ the Lord. My desire and effort are not enough without your grace. I receive your grace and mercy, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do the Word: Give God the glory for His grace and mercy that changed your life, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Worship God with a heart of gratitude, praise, and adoration.
