Learn to Be Content

Learning to be content is about knowing and doing the will of God.  Looking for a problem free life in order to be content is the wrong approach. The apostle Paul was content in every situation, even in the hard places and difficult situations, because he was in the will of God for his life. He said, "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation" (Philippians 4:12).

Learning to be content in every situation is understanding that God can change your circumstances according to his will. God is not a helpless spectator. Paul understood that God was Lord over every situation in his life. Therefore, he did not find his contentment in the situation, but in God who rules over every situation.

Pray the Word: Father, I submit to your will for my life. You are Lord over all my circumstances. I am content in you, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do the Word: Don't yield to your situation, rather yield to God, who is Lord over your situation. Be content in God. Ask that God's will be done in your situation.
