Confident in Prayer

You can be confident in prayer. Please understand that it is not self-confidence, far from it. Rather, it is confidence in God and His word. "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14). God's word is God's will. Make the Bible your prayer book. Stand by faith upon the promises of God in prayer. Asking according to God's will is praying His word.

All the promises of God are for you as a believer in Jesus Christ. "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us" (2 Corinthians 1:20). Praying with confidence is praying the promises of God in Jesus name, to the glory of God.

Pray the Word: Father, Your word of promise in the Bible is my confidence in prayer. Your word is Your will. I ask You to fulfill Your promises in my life, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do the Word: Make the Bible your prayer book. Stand upon the promises of God. Remember that Jesus Christ is the Yes and Amen of all God's promises. Answered prayer is based upon promises from the Bible to the  glory of God. Make the glory of God your focus in prayer.
