The Power of God

What does the cross of Jesus mean to you? To those who don't believe Christ died for their sins, the cross is meaningless as far as life today. It's simply something that happened to a man centuries ago. To you who believe, Christ crucified is the power of God unto salvation.

Unbelief honestly says, "What could Christ crucified possibly have to do with me?" Faith says, "He died in my place. He suffered and died for my sins." If you believe that Jesus took your place at the cross, and died for your sins, then you have experienced the power of God unto salvation. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18).

Pray the Word: Father, thank You for saving me by the power of the cross. I believe Your Son died for my sins. I believe Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.

Do the Word: Understand the message of the cross is the power of God unto salvation. It's not what you do for God, but what He has done for you. He gave His Son for you. It's the message of the cross. Praise God for the message of the cross. Share the message with others.
