Be confident, not as an actor upon a stage, but really confident. Place your confidence in God. Find confidence in Him that will give you a sure foundation in life. The word confidence means with faith. It's not faith in yourself, but faith in God which brings real confidence. "For the LORD will be your confidence" (Proverbs 3:26).
Be confident in God. Trust in God through every situation of life. Confidence in God brings practical results. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). Be confident in God to conquer all your fears and worries. Self-confidence may easily be defeated in the face of fear. Make God your confidence.
