God's Will for You

Should God choose to interrupt any of your plans, take it not unkindly. Ignore frustration and forget disappointment. He's got a better idea. Your interruptions in life are divine appointments, even if they seem inconvenient or disappointing. "Instead you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we shall do this or that" (James 4:15).

God is working in your life according to His good will. What is seen as bad one day will turn into something good another day. He has the sovereign ability to work all things together for good in the lives of His children, according to His purpose. God has plans for you in the new year. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Pray the Word: Father, I surrender to Your good will for my life, knowing that You are working all things together for good in my life, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do the Word: Praise the Lord that His providence works in your life in every detail. When you must walk through a valley, praise God that a mountain top experience is coming ahead. Walk by faith in the goodness of God.
