Faith knowledge is based upon the word of God. It is the word of revelation. God is revealed to us through the word of faith. That word is found in your Bible. Such knowledge brings us to faith in God. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). The word of God is the word of the Spirit. This word of God brings to us a gift of the Spirit known as faith.
The knowledge of faith gives us spiritual understanding. The focus of that knowledge is God Himself, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The world cannot know God, because they see Him not. God must be revealed to us by the knowledge of faith, through the Spirit of God. "Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God" (1 Corinthians 2:12).
Pray the Word: Father, I give You thanks for the gift of faith, coming to me by the word of the Bible, through the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do the Word: Pray that God will give growth in your faith, as you read and meditate upon the words of truth in the Bible. Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
