Why God Made You

God made you for the praise of His glory. God made all things for His glory. You were made to bring honor and glory to God. If you live selfishly, you miss the purpose of God. That's called sin in the Bible. It means that you fall short of the glory of God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

God has provided a way that you can bring glory to Him. The way is Jesus Christ. He is the way to a life full of purpose. God changes your heart and life through Christ. He conforms you to the likeness of Christ to the praise of His glory. The purpose of your life is the glory of God in Christ. "We who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory" (Ephesians 1:12).

Pray the Word: Father, I trust in Christ to the praise of Your glory. Use my life to bring glory to Your name, through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

Do the Word: Ask God to forgive you for the times you have fallen short of His glory. He will. Do all that He puts in your heart to His glory. Use your talents and gifts to His glory. Use the opportunities that He opens for you in life to His glory.
