Your Place in Life

All your blessings come from God. Your life as a believer is "like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper" (Psalm 1:3). God has a place for you. He plants you where He wants you.

You may wish that you were somewhere else. You may think, if I was somewhere else I would be happy, or that God could use you in a greater way. Such thinking fails to remember that God puts you in a certain place for a certain time. Sure you have choices. No one should deny that, but God even works through your choices.

God is the source of blessings in your life. He is like the river, providing life for your roots. Believers are like a tree planted by the rivers of water. God is your source for all things in life. He is your inner source of life and strength. He desires to bear fruit through you. The tree does not strain nor struggle. It simply receives quietly and constantly from the river. God is there for you. Don't worry nor fret. Rest in Him. Trust in Him. He who is your source of life and strength shall not fail you.

God is your sufficiency in any place. He is working in you constantly. He works in you when you understand and when you don't. God will bring forth fruit in your life in due season. Simply trust God where He has placed you. God is the source of all your blessings. That includes your place in life.
