Are You Satisfied?

Are you satisfied? Finding satisfaction in this life can become a hopeless task. The journey may become exhausting. One may say, "I could be satisfied, if I lived somewhere else." Another may say, "I could be satisfied, if I had another job." Then, someone says, "I could be satisfied, but I never get what I want." What about you? What would you say?

Satisfaction will not be found in what you accomplish nor what you earn. It will never be enough. Learn the secret. Satisfaction is not found outside of you. To the contrary, satisfaction is found within you, even in your heart.

You were made by God and for God. Only when you find a personal relationship with God in your heart will you be satisfied. "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for you, O God" (Psalm 42:1).

Only God can change your heart to know Him in a personal relationship. When your heart is changed, God becomes the desire of your heart. He fills your heart with love, joy, and peace. You discover the real purpose of life, which is to love God and enjoy Him forever.

You no longer seek satisfaction, because you seek God. He is your satisfaction. "For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness" (Psalm 107:9).
