Are you frustrated with life? Do you wish that you were somewhere else? Are you confused about God's purpose in life for you? Don't make it hard. Trust God to place you where He can use you for His glory. Understand that He can work through you anywhere for His glory.
A lamp sits on the table. Someone chose to buy it and put it there. It may look beautiful or plain, regardless, it's there for a purpose. That purpose is to give light for others to see. Only when a hand reaches to turn the switch will the light come forth.
Our lives are like that lamp to God. He purchased us through the death of His Son to be His people. He has placed us where He wants us, and if we are not, He has no problem in moving us one way or another. When His unseen hand touches our lives, the light comes on for others to see. A lamp was made with a purpose. So are you.
Don't forget your responsibility. Yield to God. Yield to God's Spirit for power. Yield to God's providence to place you where He wants you. Yield to God's will to work in you, when, where and how He chooses.
Understand your purpose in life. Where God places you, that purpose is to "let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven"(Matthew 5:16).
