Don't let fear control your life. The chains of fear are not seen by others, but the chains are real in the hearts of those who are bound. The chains are hidden, but you know when they are there. Fear wants to control your thoughts, emotions, and will. Fear will seek to control you everyday and everywhere. Fear may be hidden in your heart, but you know it's real.
God's will is for you to fear no more. He can break the control of tormenting fear. "So you should not be like cowering, fearful slaves. You should behave instead like God's very own children, adopted into his family - calling him Father, dear Father" (Romans 8:15, NLT). Fear effects your relationships with everyone. Break free from fear with a renewed relationship with God as your Father. By trusting in Jesus Christ, God adopts you into His family. You know Him as your Father.
God your Father wants you to break free from fear, and that includes every kind of tormenting fear. The Father's love overcomes all of your fears. Love refuses to allow you to stay under the control of any fear. "Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear" (1 John 4:18). You can break free from the control of fear. Focus on your Father's love in Christ. Ask the Spirit of God to fill you with love.
Should fear attack you again, God your Father is always there for you. Agree with God and His will for you to be free from all fear. Your Father rules over all, and that includes tormenting fear. Refuse the lies of fear. Believe the truth of your Father's love. Break free from fear with God's love.
