May this be a good day for you. Certainly, bad things can come your way. Circumstances can be difficult. Unexpected problems may confront you. However, having a good day is not about avoiding problems. Having a good day is about who is with you. When God is with you, this is a good day for you, because God is good. "For the LORD is good" (Psalm 100:5).
Begin your day by saying to God, "Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life" (Psalm 23:6, NLT). God is good every day and all the time. God is greater than any problem you will confront today. More than that, God is your helper today with all that confronts you.
Do you believe in God's goodness? If not, no day could really be good. Believe in the goodness of God. "God is love" (1 John 4:8) and love is always good. His unfailing love will pursue you all the days of your life. That includes today. Thank God for loving you. Thank Him that His goodness pursues you today.
Make this a good day for someone else. God wants to do good for others through you. Look for your opportunity. It will come. Let God's goodness touch others through you. If you do, this will be a good day for you. When you do good, you feel good. That's God's goodness in you. Yes, this is a good day for you, as you do good for others.
