Do you trust in God? Do you have a desire to please God? Then, you should know that God is working in you. He works in you for good. "For it is God who works in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).
You are God's work in creation. He also works in you as a new creation in Christ. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
As a believer in Jesus Christ, recognize that God is at work in you. Understand that you are a work in progress. You are growing in your faith, as God works in you. God's Spirit lives in you. He works in your heart, which is your mind, will, and emotions.
Be sensitive to what God is doing in you. He works in your will to give you the desires of His will. He works in your mind to give you understanding in His written word, the Bible. He works in your emotions to give you love, joy, and peace. He gives you compassion for others.
Because God is working in you, look in two places to discover His will for your life. First, look in the Bible and expect God to give you understanding. Also, look in your heart to discover the good desires He has put there. Listen to the Bible with your heart. You will discover His good pleasure. Remember, "God who works in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure."
