You have an inheritance, as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ."In Him also we have obtained an inheritance"(Ephesians 1:11a). Every member of God's forever family has a guaranteed inheritance in Christ. Your inheritance is certain, "according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will" (Ephesians 1:11b). Your inheritance is foreordained by God Himself.
It's your Father's will to give you the kingdom. You may ask, what does that mean? "The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17). God gives you His righteousness by faith in Christ. He gives you the gift of the Holy Spirit, who brings joy and peace into your life. This is your birthright in Christ alone.
Jesus Christ is your birthright from God the Father. Your future is as bright as the promises of God in Christ. God gives you life eternal, conformed to the likeness of Christ. He is your future forever. "Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2).
There is reason for great joy among all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. You are a joint heir with Christ. Your inheritance is certain in Christ. All of your inheritance comes to you through Christ.
