Grow In Your Faith

Would you like to grow in your faith toward God? Probably, most Christians would. The only problem is that most of us look to grow in faith at all the wrong places. There is a secret to growing in your faith. Any believer may grow in faith. It's an open secret found in your Bible.

Understand that faith never grows alone. You will never grow in faith where you do not likewise grow in hope and love. These triplets are never separated. If you grow in one, the other two must  grow also. "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13). Please note that faith is not the greatest. Love is always the greatest, because "God is love" (1 John 4:8).

Therefore, the secret to growing in faith is always growing in God's love. Faith always follows love. God's love will always give you the faith and hope you need for every trial and test. You need not ask to be filled with greater faith. No! Never! Ask God to fill you with His love. Faith will grow with love every time.

Those who want to grow in faith need to grow in God's love. Those who want strong hope only need more of God's love. Ask God to fill you with His love. That's the Spirit-filled life, "to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:19). Those who grow in their faith are filled with God's love.
