Christmas is for everyone. That's because God's love is for the world. Because of God's love, Jesus was born for everyone. Not only was he born for you, but also for the whole world. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son" (John 3:16). Jesus is God's gift to the world.
Christ was given for everyone, but he must be received. God gave his Son for you, but you must receive him. God's Son is received by faith. Believing is receiving. Those who refuse to receive him, reject the gift of God's love. "But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name" (John 1:12).
For everyone who receives, "the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Eternal life comes from the eternal God through Christ. It is life full of love and joy. Eternal life is victory over death through the resurrection of Christ. It is to know God's eternal love. Nothing can separate believers from the love of God in Christ.
Christmas is for everyone, because God offers his Son to everyone. "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons" (Galatians 4:4-5). By faith in Jesus Christ, God adopts every believer into His family. Christmas is for you and everyone.
