Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could resolve some things from your past? Someone may say, "What is done is done. You can't change it." That statement is correct in part. You can't change it, but there is someone who can. God can change things from your past.
Conversion resolves your past. You become a new person in Christ. You have a new identity with a new life. Old things pass away. God forgives all your sins and you receive a new start in life. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
God resolves the bad things that happened in your past to bring good out of them. God has the unique ability to bring good out of any circumstance. He has a purpose for those who love Him, and that purpose is always good. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
Say good-bye to the past. It's time to move forward. Don't be a prisoner to the bad things in your past. Trust God to resolve your past. Refuse to live in the past. Trust God to do good things in your life in the days ahead. By God's grace, resolve your past.
