You need hope that never disappoints. That hope comes from God, and it is hope in God. Sadly, many have been disappointed by false hope, which is always in anyone and everything but God. Worse than that, some people blame their false hopes on God. They simply don't understand true hope in God.
Hope comes from God as a gift. That gift comes to our hearts through the Spirit of God. The gift of hope always focuses upon God and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a gift for all of God's children. To be born of the Spirit through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is to receive true hope in God.
When God gives hope, it never comes to you alone. Hope always comes with two constant companions, faith and love. They never come for a visit; they come to remain. They abide with you. "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13). God gives hope to abide in you.
Faith always works with hope. "Now faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"(Hebrews 11:1). Faith and hope are always focused on love, because "God is love"(1 John 4:8). God gives you hope with faith and love.
