Courage for living defeats fear. It is the work of fear to prepare the way for discouragement. We are easily discouraged when fear controls our thoughts. Discouraging thoughts should be rejected. Are we helpless victims without any choice? Of course not. Turn your thoughts toward God who is with you, wherever you go. Then, you will find courage for living.
God says to you, Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). God's word to you is courage for living. Believe his word. Receive his promise. God is with you, wherever you go.
Be of good courage, God is with you. God is with you wherever you go and all the time. Focus your thoughts upon God and the sure promises of his word. Speak this promise: The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me? (Hebrews 13:6). By faith you receive God as your helper, based upon his word of promise.
Be of good courage, because God will never leave you. That includes wherever you go. Hear his word of courage for living: I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). God is with you now and always. He is your constant companion. Trust his promise. Believe his word. Then you will have courage for living.
