Life is about choices. God has given each of us the ability to choose. Some people are hesitant to make choices. They are afraid of making the wrong choices. Some even go so far as letting others make their choices. Sad but true, their lives are controlled by fear of making the wrong choice.
You need help in making good choices. You may ask friends for their opinions. Then you may struggle and fret over the right opinion. However, there is a better way. You have a friend to help you with every decision. Wisdom is your friend. Wisdom will never lead you to make the wrong choice. Choose wisdom from God to lead you.
Wisdom is there for you. Wisdom, however, will never force its way on you. Ask God for wisdom in the choices of your life. He promises to give you wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him (James 1:5).
Wisdom never comes to you alone. Wisdom always comes with peace. They are constant companions. The wisdom of God comes to lead you with the peace of God. They always work together. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable (James 3:17). Peace will always confirm wisdom. In making good choices, let wisdom lead you with peace.
