with power according to the Spirit of holiness,
by the resurrection from the dead."

The same power that created this world and all that is in it, is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That is the power of God's Spirit, also referred to as the Spirit of holiness. The resurrection declares that Jesus is indeed the Son of God in power by the resurrection. It is the same power that changes our lives by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ.
"For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance" (1 Thessalonians 1:5). We are powerless to change our own lives, but as helpless as we are, the Spirit of God is able to change any one's life through faith in Christ.
