but not to disputes over doubtful things."
Romans 14:1
A church member said to his pastor, "I wish that I had a strong faith like yours." The pastor explained, "Oh, but you can have a strong faith, even stronger than mine." He replied, "Well, please tell me how." The pastor responded, "Faith is a gift from God. It is like a muscle. It has to be fed and exercised. Then, it becomes stronger day by day."
Faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit. It is an abiding gift for God's children (1 Corinthians 13:13). However, it may become stronger or weaker. That depends upon what we do. As we feed upon a daily diet of God's word through Bible reading and Scripture memorization, our faith becomes stronger.
As we exercise our faith through love, it continues to grow. Faith works through love (Galatians 5:6). Faith and love are inseparable (1 Corinthians 13:13). Love is the greatest gift. Where love grows, faith is sure to follow. Love produces fruitful ministry through our faith.

How is your faith? Would you consider it weak or strong? A better question is this: Is your faith growing stronger? If not, it is probably growing weaker. It either grows stronger or becomes weaker. Even if you are weak in faith now, you need not remain that way.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift of faith. May our faith grow stronger as it works through love, in Jesus name. Amen.
