God's will is for you to be free. He desires for you to have self-control. He didn't make you to be enslaved by anyone or anything. God wants you to have a personal relationship with Him, but He will never force you into a relationship. He gives you choice. He invites you to come to Him. He loves you and wants you to love Him. God wants you free.
God not only wants you to be free, but He has provided a sure way for you to be free. Jesus is the way, God's way to freedom. He died not only to forgive your sins, but to set you free from all spiritual darkness. He will set you free. Call upon Him now. He's there for you, and all who trust Him. "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened by a yoke of slavery" (Romans 5:1, NIV).
Pray the Word: God, you know the problem that keeps me from being free. I believe that it is Your will for me to be free. Set me free through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do the Word: Refuse to be in bondage to any sin, habit, or manipulative person. Recognize that it is God's will for you to be free. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to set you free from anyone or anything that burdens you. Believe that Christ is your freedom.
