The only way that you can ever please God is by faith. If you find real faith in God and His Son, be assured that God is working in you what is well-pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ. "But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is" (Hebrews 11:6).
Faith is not just mental assent nor human effort. It is a result of the Holy Spirit bringing you to a point of confidence, assurance, and trust in the living God. It's faith that the world didn't give you, and the world can't take it away. Faith pleases God, the very faith that He works in you. "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).
Pray the Word: Father, work in me that which pleases You, to the praise of Your glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Do the Word: Come to God in prayer and worship by faith. Thank God for the gift of faith at work in you. Give God all the glory for what He is doing in you. Thank God that His grace enabled you to please Him, through the Lord Jesus Christ.
